Online Master in Bhagavad Gita, and the Science and the Philosophy of Yoga (Jnana, Karma, Dhyana, Bhakti) Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda

The main objective of the Online Master in Bhagavad Gita, and the Science and the Philosophy of Yoga taught by the Bhagavad Gita Institute is to eliminate the ignorance through the deep wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita, in order to realize its principles by studying the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda.
In particular, the Master is especially aimed at Yoga teachers so that they obtain a deep knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita and the philosophy of Yoga, in a way that allows them to incorporate the ethical-spiritual dimension of Yoga in their “Physical Yoga” classes, beyond the Sutras of Patanjali, thus focusing the practice of yoga towards a balance between “physical” and “spiritual” yoga, perfectly defined in the Bhagavad Gita.
In general, the Mastery is aimed at any seeker whose goal is Self-Knowledge and liberation by incorporating the profound teachings of the Bhagavad Gita into their life.

modules 1 to 4: study of the chapters of the Bhagavad Gita
The first four modules of the master's degree correspond to the study of the 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita, structured in the four main paths of Yoga, as defined by Swami Vivekananda: Karma, Dhyana, Bhakti and Jnana Yoga.
The study of each chapter is carried out based on Two versions of the Bhagavad Gita.

1- Gita according to , with comments by Mahadev Desai and Swami Sivananda, Translated into Spanish by Pedro Nonell.
- One of the most accessible and understandable versions of the Bhagavad Gita; ideal to enter into its deep wisdom
- Focus mainly focused on Karma Yoga, the path of work for the good of humanity
- Gandhi recognized that the strategy of his non-violent struggle to achieve independence from the British Empire was based on this version of the Bhagavad Gita
2- Gita Makaranadam by Swami Vidya Prakashananda, Translated into Spanish by Pedro Nonell.
- It is an advanced and very pedagogical version based mainly on knowledge (Jnana)
- All shlokas are in Hindi, English and Spanish
- Each shloka has extensive commentaries (some up to four pages long)
- Extensive comments by Swami Vivekananda are included in certain shlokas
- Also includes reflections by Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda or Swami Sarvapriyananda

In this way the student gets to have a vision according to the different paths of yoga (although in reality everyone followed the four paths):
- Bhakti Yoga. Sri Ramakrishna was one of the greatest Bhakta Yogis in history
- Jnana Yoga. Swami Vivekananda was one of the great Jnanis and philosophers of humanity. Swami Vidya Prakashananda and Mahadev Desai also mainly followed this path
- Karma Yoga. Gandhi was one of the great Karma Yogis, and his version of the Bhagavad Gita reflects this. Swami Sivananda also mainly followed this path

All the subjects that contain each of the 18 chapters of the Bhagavad Gita are structured as follows:

- Chapter study (version: Gita according to Gandhi in Spanish)
- Analysis of the Comments by Gandhi, Mahadev Desai and Swami Sivananda

- In-depth analysis of each verse of this chapter (version: Gita Makaranadam by Swami Vidya Prakashananda)
- Analysis of the Teachings of Swami Vivekananda y/o Sri Ramakrishna relacionadas

- Exercises
All chapters of the Bhagavad Gita are available in Spanish and English, it is highly recommended to read each chapter in Spanish and then in English.
Each of the first five modules of the master's degree has a series of self-assessment questions and a final exercise of the module. In addition, the student-seeker must complete a final Master's thesis (research work) related to the Bhagavad Gita, the science of Yoga, Vedanta, Sri Ramakrishna or Swami Vivekananda. The topic of the thesis is proposed by the student. It will be highly valued if the results of the research can benefit the international yogic community in particular and humanity in general.
The student-seeker who passes the exercises and the thesis and who obtains a favorable report from his teacher will receive the diploma of “Master in Bhagavad Gita, Science and the Philosophy of Yoga” issued by the Bhagavad Gita Institute and EENI Global Business School (Spain).
