In chapters VII-XII of the Bhagavad Gita, Sri Krishna explained to Arjuna the secrets of the path of devotion to the Lord, the path of love. Bhakti Yoga, or worship or love, in one form or another is the easiest, most pleasant and natural form of man.. The object of Bhakti is God.» Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa: «When a huge tidal wave comes, all the streams and ditches are filled to the brim without any effort or consciousness on your part; Thus when an Incarnation arrives, a tidal wave of spirituality breaks over the world, and people feel spirituality almost in the air.» Sri Swami Sivananda: «If one practices constant remembrance of the Lord through daily Sadhana (spiritual practice, exercises), then he will be rooted in His remembrance even at the time of departing this body at death.» Swami Vidya Prakashananda: «Love and feeling of kindness towards all creatures is the basic virtue of a Bhakta Yogi. The ultimate goal of Bhakti and Jnana is the same. Whatever the method of worship, if practiced with faith and devotion, man attains Paramatman. Let the seekers not rush to reach the Unmanifest even at the beginning. Let them try to overcome selfishness attached to the body through the worship of Ishvara, and obtain complete mastery of their senses through the desireless performance of all good deeds.» The final exam is based on in-depth research work on Bhakti Yoga, especially valuing that its results can benefit the yogic community and/or humanity. The student-seeker who passes the exercises and who obtains a favorable report from his teacher will receive the diploma: “Advanced course of Bhakti Yoga (Bhagavad Gita).” |
