Teachers knowledgeable about the Bhagavad Gita and committed to its values

How to study the Bhagavad Gita

As mentioned, the Bhagavad Gita was transmitted for generations by word of mouth and through books interpreted by different Swamis over more than two millennia.

And you must always keep this in mind: The teachers of the Gita Institute are not Swamis or Sannyasins, but simply teachers who are knowledgeable about the Bhagavad Gita and the philosophy of Yoga, and absolutely committed to their values.

“Our Swamis” are Swami Vivekananda, Sri Ramakrishna, Swami Vidya Prakashananda, Swami Sarvapriyananda or Swami Sivananda in addition to Gandhi. All study materials are based on the Spanish translations that we have made of the teachings of these Swamis.

A final reflection based on the English poet TS Eliot:

“Where is the knowledge that is lost in the information? And where is the wisdom that is lost in knowledge?”

The Bhagavad Gita and the Swamis transmit wisdom, the Bhagavad Gita Institute knowledge; We can transform the student's initial information (or even misinformation) into knowledge, but only you can transform it into wisdom through Self-Knowledge.

The main functions of the teacher are the following:

  1. Answer your doubts
  2. Correction of exercises and/or thesis
  3. Teach an online student-teacher class in each training (advanced training only)
  4. Preparation of the report on the student

Teacher-student communications are carried out mainly by email or Wapp.
