Friends and Global Collaborators of the Bhagavad Gita
Global Recognition for "The Yoga of Wisdom" by Pedro Nonell
The Bhagavad Gita is more than a book; it is a living tradition sustained by a global community of seekers. In this section, we celebrate the Friends of the Bhagavad Gita, a diverse group of yoga teachers, writers, and scholars who have collaborated with Pedro Nonell to bring the "Yoga of Wisdom" to life. From traditional ceremonies in Barcelona to historic bookstores in Delhi, these connections prove that the message of God transcends all borders.

Barbara Maggiora, one of the best Yoga teachers I have ever had, perfectly
combines physical and
Spiritual
yoga in her Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga or Yoga
Nidra classes. Thank you Barbara, as Sri Krishna said to Arjuna in the Bhagavad
Gita: “.. Thou are born with divine inheritance”

Director of the Infinity.

The book “The Yoga of Wisdom (Bhagavad Gita)” along with a magnificent French
edition of the Bhagavad Gita according to Sri Aurobindo (Philosophy of Yoga),
in the library of the Infinite Yoga School (Barcelona).

On the occasion of the inauguration of the new “Bhakti” room of yogaonearagoeixample in Barcelona and blessing a few mālās, teacher Sadhya (@sadhya108), with more than 35 years doing Fire Ceremonies, has lived 3 years in India and learned Pūjā, Vedic philosophy, Sanskrit and Vastu. The ceremony consisted of a Pūjā for Lakimi, the goddess of fortune, and then a Fire Ceremony where Lakimi's 20 names were chanted.
I wanted to take advantage of this magnificent opportunity to give him a copy of my book, in his own words:
“Pedro Nonell pleasantly surprised me by giving me his beautiful recently published book, the yoga of wisdom Bhagavad-gītā, according to Gandhi with comments by Swami Śivānanda”
Thank you master for blessing my book! The following verse from the Bhagavad Gita comes to mind:
“Whoever exposes this supreme mystery to My devotees, by that act of highest devotion towards Me, will surely come to Me” Bhagavad Gita Chapter 18-68
Thanks to @108kaveri for her estimable help, to Carolina Guillen, director of the center (@108_meditacionurbana) for organizing it, and to the Yoga teacher Marta Lecuona (@108_ioga).

My mission in relation to the Bhagavad Gita
Sharing Gita moments with Patricia Peguero and Marta Rusiñol.
Patricia Peguero (Chandra Devi), is part of the team of teachers of the deepening courses in Yoga (Philosophy of Yoga) and Training of new teachers, along with Jordi Canela OM RAM and Surya Devi.
Marta Rusiñol is the head and teacher of Yoga at YogaOne Plaza Molina and YogaOne Mandri. In addition to being a friend and partner in the staged representation of the Bhagavad Gita

We chatted for a long time about the Bhagavad Gita and about different collaborative projects between the three of us to make known the profound wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita

I have been lucky enough to meet again with the first Yoga teacher I had, Toni Romero (@toniromeroprieto) and with his wonderful wife Valeriia Andrieieva (@valeriia.yoga). Yoga in the deepest sense has been part of my dear Toni's life for years. His classes are incredible, he is never still on the stage, the whole class is correcting the asanas of his students, and what I loved most about Toni was the ability to improvise that he has, he had never done a class like it (and we already know that without a strong base (improvisation is not easy, but impossible) and also the affection with which he treats his students. Furthermore, he knows both physical yoga (see the incredible photos of him practicing Ashtanga on his Instagram) and spiritual yoga, he is a master of the Upanishads and therefore of the Bhagavad Gita, the Sutras of Patanjali (Philosophy of Yoga) and a thousand things. more, and knows how to fit this spiritual component into the asanas. If you are in Barcelona, don't miss any of his classes.
Today we have been having breakfast together, and I have given him a copy of my book “The Yoga of Wisdom (Bhagavad Gita)"; Toni occupies a prominent place in the acknowledgments section of the book (see end of penultimate paragraph).
Although I know you don't like me calling you that: Thank you Swami!!!!!

We met several friends who share Hindu spirituality and writing:
Alexandra Di Stefano Pironti, journalist and writer. Her recent book “Jump to Infinity” is a wonderful collection of poems based, among others, on Vedanta, the Bhagavad Gita or yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
Oscar Castillo, yoga teacher, and Director of Yogadiariovivir, a Catalan yogi in Chile. He is a collaborator of René Espinoza, who has written another wonderful book: “Yoga Sutras of Patanjali - A Poetic Translation by René Espinoza” and which I had the immense honor of prefacing.
Pedro Nonell, author of the book “The Yoga of Wisdom: Bhagavad Gita” (René was kind enough to send me a beautiful text in verse and I included it in the book in chapter “The Bhagavad Gita and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali”)
In addition There was Naseem, Alexandra's friend, Anwar her husband. We chatted for a long time about the World, the lack of spirituality to the West, Vedanta, the Bhagavad Gita.:

The Book “The Yoga of Wisdom (Bhagavad Gita)” at the Sempreviva yoga studio (Balaguer, Lleida)
The two members of Sempreviva Rosa and Neus with teacher Iván with the 3 copies of the Bhagavad Gita.
Neus gave them these two copies of the book, an excellent way to start the Sempreviva yoga courses, what a precious gift! Thanks Neus!

Yesterday afternoon I had the honor of meeting with Alexandra Di Stefano Pironti, writer and journalist, as such she has lived in countries such as
Egypt, Cyprus, Dubai and Indonesia. She has dedicated her life to seeking
answers about the nature of being, existence and reality. She is a unique person, both because of her human warmth and because of her experience and
wisdom. She is the author of two books.
- “A Leap to Infinity (Meditative Poems)” Ediciones Carena (@edicionescarena)
- “The Dream of a Shadow”, one of the 10 finalists for the 2020 Planeta Prize,
I have already read a few pages of the first, and I can only say that it is MARVELOUS. Any spiritual seeker will enjoy this wisdom in the form of poems written with profound beauty. In the photo I attach a poem that refers to the Bhagavad Gita.
I also had the pleasure of meeting her beloved husband Anwar. We spent a long
time talking about the Bhagavad Gita, Vedanta, the Middle East,
Africa,
meditation, spirituality, the lack of it to the West..
The prologue of his book begins like this: “All of us who are in the spiritual
path, regardless of the tradition.."
What a beautiful message, it reminded me of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa's maxim: “As many faiths, so many paths” (“Yato mat, tato path”)

Giving a copy of the book “The Yoga of Wisdom (Bhagavad Gita)” to the yoga teacher, yogi and friend Samuel

Meeting with Daniel Alabern (@daniel_alabern). A few months ago he invited me to do a live interview on Instagram to chat about the Bhagavad Gita. The truth is that it was a wonderful experience, we talked for almost an hour about the Bhagavad Gita, Vedanta, and about my admired and .
In addition to being a yoga teacher, Daniel is an expert in yoga, the Bhagavad Gita, astrology, philosophy and comparative religions. A true Renaissance man. Someone worth knowing and chatting with.
