Therefore he can be considered to be the Author (compiler) of the Mahabharata and therefore of the Bhagavad Gita (the Path of Wisdom). He is also known as he who “classified the Vedas”. In the last chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, the Yoga of Renunciation of Action, Sanjaya says:
